Target Range:

$130,000.00 /Yr. - $175,000.00 /Yr.

Actual starting pay will vary based on factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, experience, skills, specialty, and education.

Eligible for an Annual Discretionary Cash Bonus Target: 15%

Eligible for an Annual Discretionary Restricted Stock Units Bonus Target: 15%

These discretionary target bonuses may be awarded semi-annually based upon your achievement of performance goals and targets.

About This Job

Supporting the development and implementation of the First Line risk management program for Commercial Banking.

Responsibilities:

• Execute essential risk program functions, including Risk and Control Self Assessments (RCSA’s), Key Risk Indicators (KRI’s), Issue Management, Operational Risk Event and Losses, and more. Provide informed and valuable risk and control perspectives to other members of the 1st line Commercial Banking team.

• Lead the generation of the monthly Commercial Banking Risk Report

• Coordinate Operational Risk event report submissions into the Archer platform for Commercial Banking

• Coordinate and annual refresh of the Commercial Banking portfolio of KRIs and KPIs

• Coordinate RAS, KRI and KPI limit excess summary report submissions for Commercial Banking  

• Coordinate the RCSA program for Commercial Banking, including providing review and challenge draft RCSA assessments before they are submitted to the 2LOD

• Monitor and report on Commercial Banking’s coming due and past due issues to help drive timely remediation of all issues

• Collaborate closely with colleagues across the 2nd and 3rd lines to strengthen the control environment and enhance risk management practices

• Analyze and evaluate data that effects the technical, operational, and business functions and provide insight to the practical impacts/implications to Commercial Banking

• Contribute to the development of a robust risk culture, risk conduct, and risk literacy within the first line of defense, including design and implementation of preventive and detective controls relating to Commercial Banking activities

• Participate in conducting research, analyzing, and interpreting data and information to support strategies, initiatives, organizational planning, and business model adjustments

• Act as the business teams’ liaison for business line risk management, compliance activities, legal engagement, and internal or external audits

• Build and sustain effective relationships and alliances both internally and across all lines of business and staff areas to help deliver results and to ensure opportunities are identified, analyzed and managed appropriately

• Partner with team members to contribute concise communication materials for senior management. Develop presentations for internal and external meetings that are compelling, concise, and graphical to convey message

• Prioritize organizational risk management objectives

• Direct and participate in special projects as necessary

• Facilitate audit and examination activities

• Cultivate and grow risk talent within the organization through coaching, mentoring, and occasionally assisting with review of applicable training

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree

• 10+ years' relevant experience
