JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS
The Continuing Education Department of Penn State Berks invites applications for a part-time instructor appointment in the non-credit Process Instrumentation and Control Certificate.
Requirements and Qualifications
A bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred along with industry experience.
In addition, the successful candidate must either have demonstrated a commitment to building an inclusive, equitable, and diverse campus community, or describe one or more ways they would envision doing so, given the opportunity
The start date for the appointment is Fall 2026. The opening is a one-semester, non-tenure track appointment with the possibility of reappointment. All applications will be considered until the vacancy is filled.

Pursuant to the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act and the Pennsylvania Act of 1988, Penn State publishes a combined Annual Security and Annual Fire Safety Report (ASR). The ASR includes crime statistics and institutional policies concerning campus security, such as those concerning alcohol and drug use, crime prevention, the reporting of crimes, sexual assault, and other matters.
