About the role

Location: De Pere, WI

Position Summary: This is a key position for communication and the organization of all required departmental needs and requirements. The position requires a highly professional, organized individual with a "team player" attitude who can handle daily changing tasks for the Operations department and employees.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

  • Maintain organization of the Production Office
  • Schedule meetings and organize calendars
  • Review and verify all department expense reports and timesheets for accuracy and completeness
  • Coordinate department travel requests
  • Maintain up to date employee vacations records
  • Maintain logs, tracking and distribution of CCR's
  • Maintain assigned department conference rooms and equipment
  • Work with Marketing to ensure all new forms, procedures, presentations, etc. conform to Durr standards
  • Provide general administrative and clerical support including mailing, scanning, faxing and copying to team; teach and train, as needed, to allow some personnel to be self sufficient
  • Assist with the filing of project and confidential information
  • Assist with presentations, charts, and meeting minutes
  • Organize customer lunches and special events
  • Assist with minor IT support issues as needed; teach and train as needed, to allow some personnel to be self sufficient
  • Fill in for switchboard coverage as needed
  • Support with uniform program for team
  • Assist with ordering of office supplies
  • Support with MAT2 students and interns
  • Assist with minor SAP support, teach and train, as needed, to allow some personnel to be self sufficient
  • Assist with drug testing authorization forms for plant security

Nonessential Functions

  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Support special one time or annual events with organization and execution

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma required
  • Associate degree preferred
  • Two or more years of experience as a department Administrative Assistant
  • Position related experience within an engineering or purchasing environment preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Detail oriented
  • Good organization and time management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment while maintaining a positive attitude
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality when required
  • Ability to make disciplined decisions based on facts and lessons learned
  • Adaptable to change in a learning environment
  • Self-starter capable of executing assigned tasks and solving problems in a diplomatic and professional manner
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Experience with SAP preferred
