Position Overview

In this role, you’ll be testing samples of aggregate & asphalt to ensure that only the best quality materials are used as we work together to build our communities.

Wage: Starting at $22+ /hr DOE
Wage Scale for Position: $25 – $34.50 /hr. DOE
Note: Wage scale for position is the full wage scale an individual can make based on performance, experience, and seniority throughout their time at the company.

Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Functions)
- Collect samples from asphalt, or aggregate plants.
- Performs field tests for density or other properties.
- Performs and records aggregate gradations.
- Process samples using a variety of testing equipment and procedures.
- Promptly communicate with supervisors on any flaws in material.
- Take action to avoid potential hazards or obstructions.
- Record data and enter information into computer systems.
- Communicates with plant staff.
- Travel to and from various sites.
- Performs general clean-up and maintenance duties as assigned.
