Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a Quality Systems Specialist to support the Lipskin and Floor Grids teams based out of Orangeburg, South Carolina.

The successful candidates will have a teaming mentality, and possess effective collaboration and communication skills to support the Statement of Work

Position Responsibilities:

• Assists in review of proposals, contracts, regulatory, program and customer requirements to prepare quality assurance plans and tests for hardware and software products, processes and services.

• Maintains Quality directives, policies, processes, procedures and metrics to assure program, contract, customer, regulatory requirements, international standards and working agreements are deployed using established procedures.

• Collects and verifies data to support the identification of root cause routine problems.

• Provides ideas and concepts for corrective action development.

• Supports quality source selection and process reviews of suppliers' ability to meet program quality requirements.

• Assists with hardware, software and system level audits to determine compliance with quality management system standards, configuration assurance, related business, regulatory and customer requirements.

• Documents audit results in standard formats. Compiles data and provides recommendations for material review disposition. Works under general supervision.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.  

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• Experience with data review and analysis

• Experience with Microsoft Excel, with the ability to perform calculations and analyze data

• 3+ years of experience with Lipskins

• 1+ years of experience collecting, researching, and evaluating issues for product/process improvement opportunities that may include recurrent product issues

• 1+ years of experience gathering requirements, defining the solution, and delivering quantitative decision making analysis to management

• Experience with Quality Management Systems

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• 5+ years experience with Lipskins

• Experience with CMES

• Experience with Velocity system

• Experience with SQL Server

• Experience with advanced Excel features such as Power Query, Macros & Advanced Formulas

• Experience with Data Reporting tools such as Tableau, WebArt, Mini-Tab

• Experience with data auditing, reconciliation, management, traceability, compliance

Summary pay range: $82,800 - 101,200
