Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for an Associate or Mid-Level Procurement Agent to join the Technical Services Center of Excellence team in Fairfax, VA or Annapolis Junction, MD.  

Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Associate and Mid-Level Procurement Agents.

This position will require the support of sourcing strategies, subcontract negotiation, the documentation of contracts and agreements, and the preparation and execution of proprietary information agreements and strategic contracts.  It will also require the communication of performance expectations and use of metrics to evaluate, monitor, and improve supplier performance.

Position Responsibilities:

• Prepares and executes proprietary information agreements

• Supports sourcing strategies, negotiations and documenting of contracts and agreements

• Partnering with Program and Engineering teammates to provide the best sourcing solution for our programs

• Performs continuous review and analysis of demand and supply

• Communicates performance expectations and metrics to evaluate and monitor supplier performance

• The candidate must possess strong business acumen, communication and problem solving skills

• Proactive engagement with various disciplines and program stakeholders is required

• Supports the sourcing strategies, negotiations and documenting of contracts and agreements

• Gathers data for supplier performance evaluation and improvement opportunities

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• 1+ years’ experience working directly with suppliers or supplier management

• 1+ years’ experience drafting, negotiating and executing complex contracts and subcontracts

• 1+ years’ experience managing suppliers/vendors to deliver products and services

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Bachelor’s degree or higher

• Experience and/or training with the Truth in Negotiations Act (TINA)

• Experience in Supplier Management/ Procurement as a Purchasing Agent or Buyer

• Experience working on U.S. Department of Defense contracts

Work Location:

This position is hybrid. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options.  This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary Pay Range for Associate level (Level 2): $64,600 – $79,800

Summary Pay Range for Mid-level (Level 3): $79,900 – $98,700
