Educator, Early Childhood Education Centre, On-Call

The ECE Educator-On-Call position will be contacted as required to work with children 3 to 5 years of age in our ECE Centre. You will be part of a collaborative teaching team supporting the positive growth and development of young girls in the Crofton House School Early Childhood Education Centre.

Opportunities:

• Support student learning with small group and individual instruction 
• Lead classes in specialist subjects that align with your skill set

Responsibilities:

• Support ECE teaching team with daily lessons and preparation
• Assist ECE students in a variety of activities
• Support students during non-instruction times (transitions, outdoor play)
• Supervise students in an after school care program
• Work collaboratively as part of a dynamic team of early childhood educators
• Take initiative to seek out tasks

Qualifications:

• Early Childhood Educator Certificate
• Demonstrated experience as an early childhood educator
• Proven ability to work collaboratively
• Capacity to be creative, flexible, and patient
• Strong communication skills
• Dedicated attention to the care and safety of child
• Commitment to the integration of school learning in a childcare setting
• Highly organized with attention to detail
