- Ward 5D is a 32-bed General Medicine Ward with a specialised focus on Haematology and Oncology care, including the delivery of inpatient cancer therapies. We proudly serve patients and their families from across the North and North West of Tasmania, providing comprehensive inpatient services in oncology, haematology, and radiation oncology.

The Role:
- Join Our Compassionate Oncology Team.
- Are you a Registered Nurse with a passion for delivering high-quality, patient-centred care in a supportive and dynamic team environment?
- Ward 5D is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our inpatient oncology unit. In collaboration with the Nurse Unit Manager (NUM) and the broader multidisciplinary team, you will contribute to comprehensive nursing assessments, care planning, and the coordinated delivery of services to our admitted patients.

You will need:
- Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse with a Medication Endorsement.
- Demonstrated clinical experience in acute care settings, with a strong interest or background in oncology, haematology, or general medicine is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a commitment to safe, accountable, and patient-centred care in a multidisciplinary environment.

Details of appointment:
Permanent, shift worker (fully rotational) position, working up to 64 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as you can join us.
*notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.
Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies.
Salary: $78,179 to $105,995 per annum (Pro rata). Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
- Salary range is in accordance with Nurses and Midwives (Tasmania State Service) Agreement 2023.
Access to the Grade 4 salary range $99,455- $105,995 is subject to successful application for progression to Grade 4
