Job Description

Lead the development, implementation, and alignment of supply planning and inventory management activities for the Standard Product space by working closely with Operations, Logistics, Customer Care, Demand Planning, and Businesses to optimize inventory across the supply chain consistent with customer service.

What You'll Do:

  • Development / ownership of S&OP supply planning strategies for the Standard Product space aligned with the ETO space. Collaborate with key ISC stakeholders to assess operational requirements and develop supply planning strategies to achieve the overall business outcomes.
  • Oversee the development of and monitor ongoing effectiveness of production and inventory control practices and standardization with a team of Supply Planning Managers who lead the regional Supply Planning teams comprised of Finished Good Planners and Master Production Schedulers with dotted line accountability of Planning within Operations.
  • Apply an advanced knowledge of supply planning as well as overall supply chain management and substantial experience in order to identify and solve highly complex business problems with end to end solutions that deliver RA and Customer outcomes.
  • Implement world-class systems of inventory and supply planning management. Ensure appropriate metrics, tools, and processes to optimize performance while working with cross-functional teams to prioritize and drive implementations.
  • Be fluent in various information systems related to supply planning. Work closely with stakeholders to suggest maintenance and enhancements to business and manufacturing systems with the goal of improving our ability to meet inventory objectives and improve responsiveness to customer requirements.  Participate in / propose next-gen technology for supply planning.
  • Collaborate with senior functional leaders to establish both short and long term business objectives. Act as a catalyst for change to achieve business goals as well as addressing barriers to change. Identify, develop, and manage strategic relationships to enable implementation of the corporate growth strategies and revenue achievement while maintaining cost.
  • Stay current on supply planning and overall supply chain trends in order to proactively craft vision and strategy for supply planning that is fit for the future.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Must be willing and able to travel up to 30%domestic and internationally.
  • Legal authorization to work in the US is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening. 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • BS or BA in Operations/Materials/or Supply Chain required. MBA desirable. APICS certification preferred.
  • Minimum ten (10) years of progressive experience in Supply Chain Management
  • Experience within a production/inventory control environment required
  • Must have experience as a manager in the several areas of supply chain: supply planning, inventory management, production planning and control, logistics, and demand planning / forecasting; experience in using SAP for production planning, supply planning, and demand planning; experience with multi-echelon inventory planning tools and applications; experience in leading cross functional process improvement projects, facilitating diverse teams, and training others on new process / solutions; experience in cost reduction and cycle time improvement; and experience with supply chain simulation
