Senior Associate, Creator (Freelancer)

Golin Chicago is looking for a temporary Senior Associate, Creator. This role will have the opportunity to contribute to brainstorming sessions, assist with basic design and development tasks, and help in preparing presentations, playing a vital role in the foundational stages of creative work.

 

What You’ll Do:

• Collaborate with other creatives, strategists, media, digital and account teams to ensure our work is always relevant, strategically sound and headline worthy.
• Proactive thinking. You’re always bringing ideas because you know not every opportunity lives within the brief.
• Assist in the development of creative concepts and ideas.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and creative meetings.
• Help prepare presentations and materials for client pitches and internal reviews.
• Conduct research on industry trends, competitive landscapes, and creative inspiration.
• Assist with the documentation of creative processes and project details.
• Provide administrative support to senior creative staff as needed.
• Ensure compliance with brand guidelines and project specifications.
• Gather and organize feedback from creative reviews and client meetings.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years’ creative experience in advertising or social. Knowledge of earned media is a plus.
• A creative portfolio that’s filled with smart thinking.
• Internet fluency. You know the ins and outs of social media, speak the language of the internet, have gone down YouTube rabbit holes for multiple hours in a row, have uploaded multiple TikTok videos and have explored without fear the inner depths of Reddit.

 

Golin has included the base salary range or hourly rate for this role. Actual compensation offered within the range will depend upon, among other factors: a candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience; actual ranges for current or former employees in the role; and market considerations. Hourly rate: $35/hour.

We are looking for someone who can join us in a Freelance capacity and can commit to 20 hours per week for approx. 8 months.
