Job Summary
Director, Sales and Marketing Tools will be responsible for building and executing a comprehensive tools strategy, resulting in efficient sales and business performance. Area of responsibility encompasses all Core and Marketing Tools utilized by Comcast Business frontline sales teams. Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to: Rationalizing Comcast Businesses sales tools universe, driving utilization, supporting brilliant feature roadmap execution and new tools evolution, and cost/license management will be primary responsibilities. This is a highly collaborative leadership position that requires a high degree of technical acumen, inspirational leadership, and executive presence.Job Description
Core Responsibilities
- Influence and execute the roadmap for all ‘core sales’ CRM and ordering tools utilized by frontline sellers to configure, price, and quote customer orders. Examples of in-house tools include but are not limited to Frictionless, SalesForce, Orion Sales, Orion SQO, Knock, and Mobile360.
- Influence and execute the roadmap for all marketing tools utilized by frontline sellers, including but not limited to LinkedIn Navigator, ZoomInfo, SalesLoft, Copilot, Revegy, and LiveSocial.
- Build a tools strategy that rationalizes the coexistence of and integrates the various core and marketing tools utilized by Comcast Business frontline sales teams.
- Thought leader and fierce advocate for the ongoing evolution and investment in a best-in-class tool set that drives adoption, performance, and share growth.
- Measure seller utilization of core sales and marketing tools, understand barriers to engagement, and work with Marketing, Channel Strategy and Sales teams to identify and lead efforts that drive greater adoption.
- Ability to effectively navigate between technical and non-technical, leadership and frontline teams is critical to the success of this role.
- Must be able to clearly and compellingly articulate “what” and “why” tools engagement and evolution is necessary and beneficial.
- Align on Key Performance Indicators with Finance and Sales leaders and partner to drive business case and expense goal attainment.
- Interacts closely with a matrixed cross-functional team (both field and corporate) in order to secure alignment and solution excellence.
- Leader of Leaders with significant influence, responsible for inspiring, guiding and growing direct reports.
