Software Engineer 3 (Hybrid) - Kubernetes/Docker/DevOps/AWS/ELK

Captivation Software is looking for a senior level software engineer who will act as a DevOps engineer with a understanding of concepts even at the board level, be willing to jump in and take over operations type work, diagnosing Kubernetes issues, diagnosing CI/CD issues, diagnosing application issues, assisting customers with their deployment troubleshooting. The Dev/Ops engineer will update sections of configurations, as well as simultaneously manage changes to other parts of the program. The Dev/Ops engineer will assist in upgrading current infrastructure tools to stay current with industry while also researching new tools and evaluating for potential use. Assist team members as needed. Will work across contracts to assist both front end and back-end development teams who are tenants in the Dev/Ops infrastructure in low side environments and high-side. Will also collaborate with the customer operations team to ensure continuity. DevOps Engineers must know how to use scripting languages such as bash, Python, and/or Javascript.

Requirements

Security Clearance:

• Must currently hold a Top Secret / SCI U.S. Government security clearance with a favorable Polygraph, therefore all candidates must be a U.S. citizen

Minimum Qualifications:

• Twenty (20) years experience as a SWE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
• Four (4) years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.

Benefits

• Annual Salary: $125,000 - $250,000 (Depends on the years of experience)
