Job Summary


The Human Resources Intern will provide support for our Human Resources Department. This position will be a paid internship and provides hands-on experience in a fast-paced business environment across various HR functions. 

 

 


Essential Duties & Responsibilities



Creating and editing job descriptions
Mail out certification badges
Process incoming mail and scan to the People Operations inbox
Assist with onboarding presentations
Support the HR Specialists with the daily functions
Other HR related activities and projects
Lead project meetings and makes presentations
Contribute to a positive, inclusive, and respectful workplace culture, free from behaviors that undermine morale, productivity, or organizational values
Uphold the organization’s standards of integrity, accountability, and respect in all duties and interactions
Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and applicable laws and regulations
Represent the organization and maintain liaison with individuals and related organizations
Other duties as assigned or required to meet the business needs

Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities



Possesses advanced oral, written, and electronic communication skills
Ability to effectively adjust to changing priorities and situations
Must be detail oriented with a strong focus on accurate data management and organization of information and daily tasks
Proficiency with electronic communications including e-mail as well as standard office applications (i.e., Microsoft Office Suite)
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
Ability to collaborate effectively with all levels of management and employees across the organization
Proficient with computer and electronic communications including e-mail and text as well as standard office applications (i.e., Microsoft Office Suite)


 

 


Required Education and Experience



Office experience preferred
High school diploma
Candidate must be authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship


 

 


Preferred Education and Experience



A Bachelor's degree or pursuing a bachelor’s degree related to Human Resources or a similar field of study
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Effective interpersonal skills and abilities to deal effectively with employees at all levels using a customer service approach
Strong organizational and analytical skills
Basic knowledge of HR concepts or equivalent demonstrated skills and abilities
