This program offers you six weeks, office based training, followed by a full-time placement as an Account Manager in an Air Partner Charter division that best fits your skillset.
Initial training will be full-time, 5 days in the office, followed by a hybrid working schedule (3 days in office, 2 days from home).
The Opportunity

As part of the Air Partner Academy, you will begin as a trainee Account Manager responsible for providing air charter solutions to a broad array of customers.
You will be guided through your learning journey by our subject matter experts and highly experienced brokers. In your first six weeks, you will be taught the general aviation principals and key technical skills to broker your first deal and successfully manage a flight! You’ll also be provided with operational, sales, negotiation and behavioral skills to help you develop your own portfolio of clients over time.
Following the successful completion of initial training and assessments, you will be placed in one of our three air charter divisions (Private Jets, Group Charter or Cargo) working closely with an assigned mentor, and begin to implement your newly acquired best-in-class skills in your day to day role. During this period, you will actively quote and manage air charter flights, learn how to analyze market conditions, deliver a consistent service, and mitigate potential service disruptions. You will also have the opportunity to travel to local airports, meet local suppliers, and see off flight departures.
Responsibilities
Throughout the Academy, you will learn how to:
- Manage air charter requests from initial quote through to contracting, flight logistics, and post-flight follow up.
- Evaluate client needs, operational requirements and market conditions to select the most appropriate aircraft for each trip.
- Present tailored proposals to customers demonstrating strong commercial acumen.
- Deliver a consistent, superior service while retaining a diverse portfolio of customers.
- Pro-actively target leads through outbound sales calls, emails and visits (both face-to-face and virtual) and converting them to Air Partner customers.
- Sell, negotiate and close opportunities.
- Build relationships with aircraft operators to ensure access to the widest range of aircraft available to provide solutions for our customers.
- Work towards achieving individual targets and contributing to team financial objectives.
- Demonstrate an expert understanding of the aircraft and charter processes.
- Flight watch and oversee flight departures, resolving issues as they arise.
- Build a wide and effective network of contacts both inside and outside the organization by researching our database, websites, LinkedIn and trade press, etc.
