Position Spotlight

  • Engage and nurture candidates generated from Cochlear marketing campaigns, guiding them through their hearing healthcare journey.

  • Remote Position supporting the Ohio, Michigan, and Indiana territory.

  • Travel required up to 10%.

About the Role

If you are a customer-focused sales professional with a passion for helping others and building meaningful relationships, this is a fantastic opportunity to join the Consumer Sales team at the global leader in implantable hearing devices. In this role you will be working remotely while supporting the Great Lakes Region.

Your success in this role will be measured by your ability to achieve candidate conversion and sales goals, create exceptional customer experiences, and effectively guide candidates through their hearing healthcare journey. You will work collaboratively with Engagement Managers, marketing, field sales teams, audiologists, and scheduling coordinators to drive territory growth and help more people gain access to implantable hearing solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage with candidates through phone, virtual, and email interactions to educate them on Cochlear products, services, and hearing treatment options.

  • Achieve territory conversion and sales objectives by utilizing Cochlear's consumer sales methodology and building strong relationships with candidates and professional partners.

  • Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of customer interactions, sales activities, and opportunities using Salesforce and other business tools.

  • Collaborate with field sales partners and cross-functional teams to support growth initiatives, improve the candidate experience, and provide market intelligence.

Key Requirements

To add value to Cochlear in this role you'll be able to meet and demonstrate the following knowledge, skills and abilities in your application and at interview:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.

  • 1-2 years of professional experience, preferably in sales, customer service, healthcare, or a related field.

  • Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills with the ability to tailor messaging to various audiences.

  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining strong attention to detail.

  • Experience using Microsoft Office applications and web-based business systems; CRM experience preferred.

  • Demonstrated ability to analyze information, solve problems, and work collaboratively within cross-functional teams.

  • Travel is required up to 10%.

  • Must possess a valid driver's license.

Total Rewards

In addition to the opportunity to develop your knowledge and grow professionally, we offer competitive wages and benefits.

  • Pay Range in the United States: $70,000 - $75,000 based upon experience, as well a sales commission opportunity. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.

  • Benefit package includes medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance as well as 401(K) matching with immediate vesting, Paid Time Off, tuition reimbursement, maternity and paternity leave, Employee Stock Purchase Plan and pet insurance.
