Your Impact
As a QA Automation Engineer, you'll bring your experience in both manual and automated testing to ensure the quality and reliability of our Vehicle Intelligence products, including Outpost, Lightpost, and integration with our Fusus real-time crime center (RTCC) and Evidence.com.
You will collaborate with your team members in Product, Engineering and Design in defining end to end tests that cover critical workflows and provide a foundation for automated regression testing of product releases.

What You’ll Do
Location: Seattle WA, Boston MA (Hybrid)
Reports to: Engineering Manager
- Responsible for end-to-end test and release of new features with high standards for quality.
- Guarantee quality of products to decrease the maximum number of bugs after releases
- Manage bugs and product backlog, operational issues with your teams, as well as help confirm and validate customer-service reported defects.
- Collaborate with your peers in Development, Information Security, Site Reliability Engineering, Product Management, and QA to ensure that our software meets high standards for quality and security.
- Execute & maintain UI, API automation suites. Identify and resolve script and data issues in automation suites.
- Understand automation framework and add automation test cases for the new features and regression test cases.
What You Bring
- 5+ years of software testing experience across a wide variety of applications and infrastructure components, QA processes, test management, and automated testing tools
- Demonstrate experience in test areas: web, mobile, functional and exploratory testing.
- Experience in automation tests for UI, API, and performance testing.
- Solid understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
- Hands-on technical skills to implement and maintain automation test system
- Execute & maintain UI, API automation suites. Debug and script and data issues in automation suites.
- Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude
- Good time management and strong organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate, make questions, and communicate directly with colleagues in US
- Experience with one other modern programming language such as JavaScript, Python, or Java.
- Familiar with automation frameworks such as Playwright, Karate, Cypress, K6, Cucumber, Gatling.
- Familiar with CI tool like TeamCity, Jenkins
- Nice to have:
- Knowledge of Linux system
- Experience of working with Docker
- Experience of working with Mobile test framework like Appium.
- Knowledge of Cloud and micro services architecture, backend services and integrations.
