Job Description

As our Digital Payments Expert at Publicis Sapient, you will become a trendsetter for retail payment transactions for consumers, business' and authorities, who analyses and develops business models and payment schemes to assess new digital payment solutions. 

Your role will get you to the intersection of innovation and technology, business and customer experience. That will transform businesses and make life better for millions of our clients' customers. 

You will collaborate with clients in small teams undertaking the transformation of the century for retail payments within Europe.
 

Your Impact

• You harness deep customer research, insight and understanding to identify, test and validate new opportunities, then shape them into market-defining strategies and solutions for our clients 
• Connect the dots between payment methods like (credit) card and mobile payments to digital wallets / e-wallets 
• Conceptualize new business models and scenarios for the payments industry 
• Identify and validating business solutions to meet client and end user requirements 
• Partner with clients to articulate business goals and value pools from which we can shape product propositions that provide transformative business outcomes or customer experience 
• Articulate technology-based solutions, present in new business situations and workshops, and sometimes navigate complex client situations 
• Be the first point of contact to identify, manage and resolve requirement questions, dependencies, issues and risks 
• Collaborating with an international English-speaking team 

Qualifications

Your Skills & Experiences

• Master's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, IT, Mathematics or comparable 
• Several years of experience in retail payments industry either for consumers, businesses or public authorities 
• Worked in English-speaking teams / business environment at least 2 years 
• Strong experience in product development, agile processes and project management 
   

Set Yourself Apart With

• Experience of pan-european payment systems, eg. SIPS and non-SIPS 
• Experience in a central bank, government and/or cooperatives in a position related to the field of retail payments 
• Experience in the field of financial markets, securities settlement systems, payment settlement systems
