Job Objective:

The Flex Ops Operator (FOO) is responsible for maintaining seamless operations by filling in for absent employees across various departments. This team ensures continuity of workflow, upholds productivity standards, and supports operational efficiency during staff shortages due to illness, vacation, or other absences.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Step into operational roles on short notice to cover for absent team members.

• Perform assigned tasks according to departmental procedures and quality standards.

• Collaborate with supervisors to understand daily coverage needs and priorities.

• Uphold safety, compliance, and company policies always.

• Operate machinery, tools, and equipment in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs).

• Step into various production roles, including assembly line, material handling, and inspection, as needed.

• Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).

• Perform quality checks to ensure components meet specifications.

• Support continuous improvement initiatives and maintain a clean, organized work area

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Working Conditions:

• Shift Details: 8-hour shift: Includes 1 Break (15 minutes) and 1 lunch (30 minutes), scheduled at the Supervisor’s Discretion.
• Environment: Industrial setting with moderate exposure to noise and dust. Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is mandatory.

Education Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
