Job Summary

Responsible for contract management operations, analysis and processing of non-standard and strategic contracts. Participates in daily Contract Management operations and resolve routine and complex contract management questions and requests.

Job Description

AEP is seeking talented and motivated Customer Contract Analyst to become an integral part of AEP Energy.

• Contract Data Verification: Verify accuracy of contract management data, review, research and analyze individual accounts, and make independent decisions regarding contract activities.

• Primary Contact for Inquiries: Serve as the primary contact for contract management inquiries through proactive communication with Sales and Customers.

• Discrepancy Resolution: Identify, analyze, and determine root causes of contract discrepancies, working towards resolution. Recognize problem accounts and take necessary steps to resolve issues and correct errors.

• Cross-Departmental Communication: Communicate and maintain relationships across departments to troubleshoot issues and verify data. Collaborate with IT to improve system-driven automation.

• Reporting and Analysis: Accurately update and generate reports, research and analyze data, and draw appropriate conclusions.

• Compliance and Controls: Maintain SOX compliance and implement internal controls to reduce risk. Ensure a high degree of customer service for both internal and external customers.

• Process Documentation: Ensure processes and training materials are documented and regularly maintained.

What We're Looking For:

Education Requirements:  Bachelor’s degree required, in accounting, finance, business management or related field of study.

Experience Requirements:  2 or more years of back-office operations or relevant business experience.

• Communication & Self-Motivation:  Excellent communication skills and high-energy self-starter.

Compensation Range:

$61,647.00-77,057.50 USD
