The Pharmacy Technician Manager exists to provide for the effective recruitment, retention, supervision, and leadership of assigned employees in the Pharmacy Department for our 200-bed Arnett Hospital in Lafayette, Indiana. The leader will manage ongoing analysis, development, and implementation of methods and systems to improve overall efficiency and effectiveness of services and functions for a pharmacy technician team of approximately 30 direct reports.  The ideal leader will have prior experience as a pharmacy technician leader and have hospital pharmacy experience. This position primarily works Monday through Friday.  Rotation through on call duties and occasional weekend coverage may be required.

• BS degree in Pharmacy or related field preferred. Requires current Indiana license or eligibility for Indiana licensure as a Pharmacy Technician.
• Pharmacy Technician National Certification Board (PTCB) certification preferred. Requires knowledge of federal and state laws and regulations pertaining to dispensing of drugs and narcotics.
• Requires knowledge of pharmacy and hospital computer systems and computer-assisted devices.
• Requires knowledge in business applications.
• Requires ability to plan and manage the utilization of resources.
• Requires ability to facilitate and lead work groups.
• Requires ability to apply the organization personnel policies and procedures.
• Requires effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Requires strong customer service skills.
• Requires ability to promote teamwork and build effective relationships.
