SUMMARY
The Engineering Supervisor ("Supervisor/a de Ingeneria") assists in managing budget, capital expenditures, preventative maintenance and energy conservation. Assists in maintaining the building and grounds with particular attention towards guest satisfaction and asset protection. Assigns, tracks and follows up on status of work assigned to staff and contractors as needed. Helps to increase guest and employee satisfaction through effective communications and training.

• Compensation: $31.00 - $33.00 DOE**

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

• Keep track of all city and state compliance issues and schedule timely inspections and repairs to prevent violations.
• Maintain the rooms and public space preventative maintenance schedules, task lists and records to improve guest satisfaction.
• Use available guest data to target maintenance efforts to reduce guest complaints.
• Maintain employee performance records and participate in performance review sessions.
• Provide training to engineers towards improving their skill sets.
• Trouble shoot complex equipment which engineers are not capable of analyzing and train them as this is done.
• Regularly Inspect property building and equipment for conditions and inform the DENG of needed expenditures to improve the property.
• Assist in managing renovation projects underway identifying in-house labor needs in cooperation with the contractors on site. 
• Issue daily assignments to all engineers.
• Lead the department’s Safety effort and drive a safe work environment.
• Ensure OSHA compliance within the department.
