A Day in the Life

As a Manufacturing Technician, you will play a vital role in optimizing our manufacturing processes, ensuring the highest standards of quality and efficiency. Based in our Brooklyn Center facility, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to innovate and improve production capabilities, driving our commitment to excellence.
Monday - Friday 2nd Shift ( 2pm - 10pm). Overtime available.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.
Perform daily line sustaining for equipment repair event/Process monitoring.
Perform Preventive Maintenance (PM) activities on Production Equipment and timely update preventive maintenance schedule in Indysoft.
Support Engineering performs equipment qualification activities such as equipment setup and equipment testing.
Perform 5S housekeeping and Safety Hazards on Production equipment or work area.
Perform daily passdown for highlight areas of concern/equipment issue to the Team.
Perform timely complete the cornerstone training as assigned.
Perform daily check and timely update for preventive maintenance schedule
Performs installation, maintenance, and repairs online manufacturing or plant equipment.
Assist engineers with developing technical solutions related to the operation and performance of devices and systems.
Locates and diagnoses failures, replaces defective components, and perform troubleshooting using standard electronic equipment, detailed drawings, diagrams, sketches, specifications, prints, manuals, and verbal and/or written instructions.
May redesign optical, vacuum, electrical, electronic, or mechanical systems for incorporation on existing manufacturing equipment.
Required Knowledge and Experience: Requires high school diploma or equivalent and minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
Nice to Haves:
Experience in a regulated industry such as medical devices.
Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
Work experience with the following: FDA Quality System Regulations, current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), ISO 13485, ISO 9001 standards or equivalent.
Experience with Programmable Logic Controller (PLC), RSW (Resistance Spot Welding) and Laser Welding
