Overview:

We’re seeking a Digital Software Engineer III to join our team focused on Money Movement systems, specifically supporting our Bill Pay functionality. This is a full-stack development role, with a strong focus on .NET backend and Angular front-end, alongside opportunities to work with Java, Docker, Azure Cloud, and OpenShift.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain bill pay functionality across front-end and back-end systems.

• Contribute to backend services primarily built in .NET, with some components in Java.

• Develop responsive, user-friendly UI components using Angular.

• Work within Azure Cloud, Docker, and OpenShift environments to deploy and manage applications.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.

• Support continuous integration and delivery pipelines for production-grade applications.

• Partner with the Lead Developer to drive delivery, ensure quality, and support the team’s growth.

Tech Stack:

• Primary: .NET, Angular, Azure Cloud

• Nice to Have: Java, Docker, OpenShift

Education and Experience Required:

Minimum of an Associate’s degree and 6 years’ systems analysis/application development experience, or in lieu of a degree, a combined minimum of 8 years’ higher education and/or work experience, including a minimum of 6 years’ systems analysis/application development experience

Experience with .NET development

Education and Experience Preferred:

Experience in Java/Angular/Cloud platforms

M&T Bank is committed to fair, competitive, and market-informed pay for our employees. The pay range for this position is $110,635.01 - $184,391.68 Annual (USD). The successful candidate’s particular combination of knowledge, skills, and experience will inform their specific compensation.
