Evenings Shift (100% FTE) -
Mon-Thurs: 1:00 PM - 10:00 PM & Fri: 12:00 PM - 9:00 PM
OFF: Saturdays & Sundays
*Note that hours/shifts are subject to changes contingent on the needs of the department.
Description of Duties and Tasks
1) Coordinates workflow of the front desk and floor area to ensure effective and efficient service.
2) Assists with managing the day-to-day operational activities of the ACCelerator.
3) Provides exemplary customer service to all ACCelerator users.
4) Delegates tasks to Assistants, IT Technicians, and Hourly staff with the direction of the Supervisor and assists with schedules in Shift Planning.
5) Provide direct student support and assistance with setting up student’s eID, passwords, email account, access to other ACC student applications, and guides students to the appropriate services and resources.
6) Assists with area, zone, and classroom set-up for classes, events, and other scheduled activities.
7) Maintains, delegates, and assists with the daily cleaning, organizing, and upkeep of all ACCelerator areas. Submits maintenance service requests and IT request tickets for repair and maintenance support.
8) Regularly communicates with faculty, staff, students, and others regarding ACCelerator policies, procedures, and processes.
9) Responsible for problem-solving low to mid-level operational issues and referring complex concerns/complaints to the Supervisor or Regional Director.
10) Assists in scheduling ACCelerator spaces, equipment, and services with the Supervisor or Regional Director.
11) Assists with new staff onboarding and development of policies, procedures, and workflow structure.
12) Enters and maintains data in ACCelerator systems and provides clerical support for programs and functions.
13) Promotes the ACCelerator to students, staff, and faculty; provides tours to students, staff, and visitors.
