About the role
As Going’s Senior Manager, Lifecycle Marketing, you will lead the member journey for our 2M+ members across messaging channels to drive activation, engagement, and retention. You will take a data and technology-driven approach to create and optimize campaigns, automation, and experimentation. You will be the go-to expert on our Braze CRM integration, and act as the primary liaison between customer marketing and our engineering team.

In the short term, you will
Develop a deep understanding of Going’s Braze integration, identifying areas of improvement to improve our member experience and business impact.
Understand the internal tooling used to bring deal alerts to our members, defining opportunities to improve our member communications through better tool integration.
Lead the effort to build and scale omnichannel marketing communications that support the brand new Going mobile app, website, and product and marketing emails.
Develop an understanding of Going’s business model and the core marketing metrics required to be successful in this role.
In the long term, you will
Oversee the development of strategy, enhancement, and execution of lifecycle marketing efforts, scaling omnichannel personalized communications across each platform.
Own the performance and reporting of the full-scale lifecycle marketing program from onboarding through winback, with a focus on improving key metrics to enhance the Going member experience and ultimately drive member engagement and retention.
Translate business goals into accurate delivery requirements, including specifying required data, segmentation, and targeting logic, and dynamic content requirements.
Provide comprehensive monthly reporting on the overall impact of the program, continually improving performance through iterative testing and adapting new technologies. Influence the build of the right dashboards to track and socialize performance.
Mentor and train a team of technical lifecycle marketers who approach problem solving with a member first approach that leverages data and technology to maximize impact and efficiency.
What you know
You are an expert in Braze with a deep understanding of how to leverage the full toolset including beta features, to create the most impactful and personalized member experiences possible.
Proficiency in Liquid logic for dynamic, personalized customer engagement at-scale.
Demonstrated experience in driving revenue through marketing automation tools to create multi-step lifecycle automation, nurture campaigns, and complex customer journeys.
Self-starter who is comfortable balancing multiple projects and can autonomously see through initiatives from start to finish.
Outstanding project management, organization, and detail-oriented skills.
Exceptional creativity, visual design sensibility, and customer focus, with a knack for creating compelling copy for high-converting communications.
Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data modeling. Experience with SQL or willingness to learn. Experience working directly with Data & Insights, Product, and Engineering teams to drive technical projects, with a solid understanding of information architecture.
Proven expertise in developing and executing A/B tests and translating the results into actionable business insights.
Goal-oriented, with a track record of setting and achieving long-term performance metrics.
