Location Details: This position can work remotely from a home office for day-to-day operations. Will travel to an ACG facility on an "as needed" basis for key meetings and collaborative activities.

Position Schedule / Shift: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST.

Position Summary:

The Talent Acquisition Specialist II plays a key role in driving hiring success by managing full-cycle recruiting in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. This role primarily supports Fleet and Car Care operations and can provide recruiting support for call center positions, partnering closely with hiring leaders to attract, engage, and hire top talent while delivering an exceptional candidate experience.

The ideal candidate thrives in a metric-driven setting, managing a high volume of requisitions while building strong talent pipelines and delivering quality hires. They develop a deep understanding of assigned business lines, including workforce needs, market trends, required skills, and operational goals. This role influences hiring decisions, provides guidance on recruiting best practices, proactively develops strategies to meet staffing targets, and adapts quickly to changing business priorities. Success requires strong relationship-building skills, sound judgment, and the ability to balance speed, quality, and client service while supporting the ongoing talent needs of Fleet, Car Care, and other assigned business areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the full-cycle recruiting process for high-volume positions, including sourcing, pipelining, screening, interview coordination, offers, and onboarding support.

  • Serve as a trusted advisor and SME to hiring managers by providing market insights, talent availability trends, and recruiting best practices.

  • Partner with hiring managers to develop recruiting strategies, establish service expectations, and build strong working relationships.

  • Lead the offer process end-to-end, including salary analysis, offer recommendations, negotiations, and candidate closing activities.

  • Leverage recruiting data and metrics to manage daily operations, drive decisions, influence positive change, and achieve staffing goals.

  • Build and maintain proactive candidate pipelines to support current and future hiring needs.

  • Foster collaborative, customer-focused partnerships with hiring managers, HR Partners, and key stakeholders.

  • Maintain accurate recruitment system records to ensure compliance, data integrity, operational excellence, and adherence to established processes.

  • Participate in cross-functional projects and lead smaller project components as assigned.

  • Stay current on industry trends and labor market conditions while actively pursuing continuous learning and professional development within Talent Acquisition.

Qualifications:

Required

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED).

  • At least two years of Talent Acquisition experience supporting the full-cycle recruiting process.

  • Knowledge of EEO guidelines, state and federal employment regulations, recruiting and sourcing techniques, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), and Talent Acquisition best practices, processes, and labor market trends.

  • Strong organizational, planning, time management, and decision-making skills with exceptional attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

  • Ability to build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships, influence collaboration and alignment, and serve as a trusted advisor to hiring managers and business leaders.

  • Strong communication, negotiation, and objection-handling skills.

  • Ability to leverage recruiting data and metrics to guide hiring decisions, drive recruiting activities, and manage day-to-day operations.

Preferred

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

  • Experience with Workday ATS, including candidate management, tracking, and reporting.

  • Experience supporting high-volume recruiting environments.

  • Experience recruiting for transportation, fleet, towing, automotive, skilled trades, or field-based operations.

  • HR certification preferred (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR).
