Job Description

Our organization is seeking a motivated and experienced IT Strategic Planning Business Analyst focusing on leveraging value stream mapping capabilities. This role is critical in supporting the development and execution of IT strategies aligned with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Apply expertise in value stream mapping to analyze and optimize IT processes. Identify opportunities for improvement, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness in the delivery of IT services.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
• Support the development of IT strategic plans by providing insights into current processes and potential areas for enhancement.
• Create clear and concise documentation, including process maps, business requirements, and user stories, to support IT strategic planning initiatives.
• Collaborate with stakeholders at various levels to ensure alignment between IT strategies and business goals.
• Facilitate workshops and meetings to capture requirements and promote collaboration.
• Utilize data analysis skills to provide meaningful insights and recommendations.
• Contribute to developing key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of strategic initiatives.
• Assist in evaluating emerging technologies and trends, providing input on their potential impact on IT strategic plans.
• Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives, offering recommendations for enhancing IT processes and overall efficiency.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 years of experience as a Business Analyst, focusing on IT strategic planning and value stream mapping.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business needs into actionable IT solutions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Proven ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and build positive working relationships with stakeholders.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks concurrently.
• A passion for innovation and a willingness to stay informed about industry trends and best practices.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Analysis, or a related field.

Clearance Requirement:

• Must be a US Citizen
• Active Public Trust or the ability to obtain one
