Job Summary
Oldcastle APG is looking for a Business Intelligence (BI) Operations Lead for managing the day-to-day operations of the BI team, ensuring that the BI infrastructure and processes are optimized for consistent and timely delivery of the information to the Business. They will work closely with Data & Analytics VP and other stakeholders to implement BI initiatives and drive data-driven decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Work with stakeholders to define project requirements, develop project plans, and manage project resources
- Ensure that data is accurate, complete, and reliable, and that the BI infrastructure is functioning effectively
- Identify opportunities to optimize BI processes, including data collection, storage, analysis, and reporting
- Work with stakeholders to implement process improvements that increases Data quality, efficiency, and accuracy
- Manage BI projects, ensuring that they are delivered on time and to the required quality standards
- Monitor the Data load failures, help troubleshoot and resolve issues by working in collaboration with the Data engineers and Architects
- Ensure that appropriate BI security protocols are in place to protect sensitive data from unauthorized access, theft, or misuse
- Define & design solutions by working in collaboration with the Architects and Analysts
- Work with BI Support engineers to resolve issues/requests raised by the users
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in Data & Analytics space, specially implementing end to end Datawarehouse solutions
- Strong knowledge of SQL
- Proficient in ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) tools & data integration platforms
- Excellent project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
- Strong leadership skills, including the ability to motivate and manage a team of engineers
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to identify and resolve data issues
- Experience working with ERP and other enterprise Apps
