Senior Financial Planning Analyst, Deal Desk

What We’re Looking For:
We are looking for a highly analytical and detail-oriented Senior Analyst, Deal Desk to support our go-to-market teams in structuring and executing complex deals. This role is a key partner to Sales, Finance,
Partnerships, and Marketing, ensuring that deal terms are financially sound and support our long-term business goals. The ideal candidate brings strong financial acumen, a service-oriented mindset, and thrives

Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To:
Financial Analysis
- Conduct rigorous financial analysis on proposed deals, including revenue and profitability analysis, discounting impact, cost modeling, and ROI assessment.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Sales, Partnership, Marketing, and FP&A to manage deal workflows and approvals. Help ensure deals are structured to meet both customer
needs and business goals.
Reporting and Insights
- Support reporting and tracking of deal metrics, discount trends, and non standard terms. Provide insights to improve pricing discipline and deal velocity
Deal Review and Structuring
- Review and analyze non-standard sales deals, ensuring alignment with pricing and margin guidelines Provide recommendations on deal structure, discounting, and contractual terms
Process Improvement
- Identify and implement opportunities to improve Deal Desk workflows, approval processes, and financial systems integration
Management Responsibilities:
- Identify the type of supervisory responsibility assigned
- Provide guidance and support to team members.
- Supervises assigned staff, makes hiring recommendations, trains, provides work direction, problem-solving assistance and oversees the daily operations of the team.
- Manages staff, scheduling, assigns work, makes decisions related to salary increases, promotions, transfers, demotions, or terminations. Manages others through subordinate supervisors.
Things That Should Be In Your Background:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- 3+ years of FP&A experience.
- Strong financial modeling and analytical skills; proficiency in Excel
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Strong communication and collaboration skills; comfortable working with cross-functional teams
- Familiarity with sales processes is a plus.
While this position is open to remote candidates across the U.S., we will prioritize those who live in the Washington-Baltimore metropolitan area and who are available to come into our Headquarters in Arlington, VA three days a week.

The anticipated base salary range for this role is ($95,000-$114,000), with potential bonus eligibility.
