IT Sr. Business Analyst
 The Sr IT Business Analyst is a trusted liaison to our business partners in the CMG (Commercial, Medical and Government affairs) organization to help drive multiple technology and analytics needs. Requirements

• Drive the project requirements and liaison with Business and IT solution/Dev team from initiation to completion end to end as a BSA
• Facilitate workshops - story-boarding, translate story-boarding artifacts into an electronic format and provide input in design sessions.
• Perform any data analysis to support use case feasibility.
• Analyze and document requirements as user stories (scope) and business rules (use cases) and UX needs. 
• Plan user acceptance test (UAT), support creation of UAT scripts and facilitate UAT.
• Analyze and document current and future business processes.
• Train the operations team as needed and support them in resolving production issues.
• Perform knowledge transfer to Training &  Communication teams. Support user deployment activities as needed.
• Must build strong relationships with our stakeholders.
• Show up with an enterprise mindset and ensure work is not being done in silos. 
• Be a systems thinker and look at the big picture while determining the best solution.

Skills

• 12+ years of experience analyzing business requirements supporting medium to large scale projects as the primary BSA.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, MIS, or equivalent preferred.
• Strong experience in Agile methodology and working in Scrum teams is a must have. (Scrum certification is a plus).
• Strong experience with documenting Epics, User Stories and spikes using a scrum tool such as JIRA is a must. 
• Some SQL experience is a must have.
• Working knowledge of using collaboration tools such as Miro, Jamboard etc.
• Demonstrated success handling initiatives of high complexity and a problem solving mindset.
• Ability to multitask, work in a fast paced environment and required to have an agile mindset.
• Experience in UI/UX design especially pertaining to Data Dashboard design is preferred.
• IBAA-CBAP or similar certification is a huge plus.
• Advanced experience with data visualization and business intelligence software (ETL, Data Integration, Master Data, Qlikview, SAS,...) a huge plus
• Pharma knowledge a plus

• A clear approach to managing requirements and scope. 
• Can clearly describe data requirements for a previous project with examples on data analysis done and any market research findings. 
• An analytical/structured mindset.
• Self starter and not someone who needs to be handed the use cases. A true BSA will demonstrate proactiveness and ask the right questions to get the users thinking during requirements elicitation.
