About the role:
This role will help to support professional education tactics for grants administration and societal relations. The employee will engage with internal and external stakeholders, including medical societies and associations and act as a liaison for Boston Scientific Cardiology.
Work Mode:
At Boston Scientific, we value collaboration and synergy. This role follows an hybrid work model, requiring employees to be in our local office at three days per week.

Your Responsibilities Include:
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including [but not limited to] Medical Affairs, Scientific Affairs, Marketing, Meetings/Events/Tradeshows to drive financial stewardship.
- Operations of the Grants Process: Work collaboratively with the Cardiology Grant Coordinators to assist with workflow details including [but not limited to]:
- Grant submission in queue/review
- Grant prep for committee review
- Agenda prep for committee review
- Meeting organization and invites
- Discussion with compliance for oversight and guidance
- Documentation strategy for LOA, etc.
- Lead and Manage: Oversee and coordinate specific societal and educational activities [including conferences and meetings] to successful completion including:
- Logistical prep including [but not limited to]:
- Room reservations
- Room set-up
- AV coordination
- Agenda planning
- On-site coordination
- Catering
- Metric tracking and reporting
- Follow up actions
- Core team leadership
- Coordinate meeting attendees and invitations
- Generate PPT deck for core team members
- Ongoing communication with program organizers [as needed]
- Societal relations
- Ongoing collaboration and/or partnerships for strategic initiatives imperative to BSC Cardiology
- Serve as a point of contact for clients/customers, addressing inquiries and resolving issues efficiently and professionally.
- Logistical prep including [but not limited to]:
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including [but not limited to] Medical Affairs, Scientific Affairs, Marketing, Meetings/Events/Tradeshows to drive project success. Develop relationships with HCPs and other external stakeholders to successfully promote societal relations.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree required with 3+ years of experience in societal relations/grant administration; OR
- Associate’s degree required with 4+ years of experience in societal relations/grants administration.
- Continuous Improvement: Able to identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
- Compliance: Knowledgeable of compliance standards and regulations that link with company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements.
