The Operations & Facilities Management Department at WashU Medicine is committed to delivering a comprehensive range of services to support the medical campus.We oversee maintenance and operations for 65 buildings, covering more than 11.1 million gross square feet of space. This includes the 11-story, 609,000-square-foot neuroscience research building, which houses one of the world’s highest concentrations of neuroscientists. Our responsibilities include operational and administrative support, strategic planning, and project management.
Furthermore, as the School of Medicine continues to expand its presence both on and off campus in areas such as teaching, clinical care, and research, our team remains instrumental in ensuring the seamless delivery of clinical care, advancing research initiatives, and facilitating educational endeavors.
Greets and provides accurate information while meeting the needs of the customers. The primary point of contact for all customers visiting and/or contacting the Operations and Facilities Management Department.
Job Description
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
Greets, directs, and assists all customers.
Determines the customer's needs and responds accordingly, seeking assistance or additional resources as needed.
Responds promptly to customers' concerns and follows up when applicable. May provide information on department products available for purchase and process transactions.
Responsible for the primary department telephone lines and email account.
Responsible for the appearance of the reception area and front desk area. Must be kept neat and well-stocked with supplies utilized by customers and staff.
Maintains files.
Maintains and updates various data sets used to assist the department in evaluating its operational performance. This may include spreadsheets and databases.
Performs other duties as assigned.

$17.03 - $24.61 / HourlyThe salary range reflects base salaries paid for positions in a given job grade across the University.
