About the Role

As a Temporary HR Business Partner (HRBP), you will be a strategic ally, aligning business objectives with employees and management within designated units. You will build high-impact partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added services that reflect our organization's core objectives. Your success depends on maintaining business literacy regarding our financial position, strategic plans, culture, and competition.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Partnership: Conduct weekly meetings with respective business units to stay aligned on operational needs.

  • Performance Guidance: Provide day-to-day HR guidance and performance management counseling, including coaching, disciplinary actions, and professional development.

  • Data-Driven Solutions: Analyze trends and metrics to develop tailored HR solutions, programs, and policies.

  • Employee Relations: Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues through thorough, objective investigations.

  • Regulatory Compliance: Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements to ensure regulatory compliance and reduce legal risks.

  • Talent Documentation: Develop contract terms for new hires, promotions, and transfers.

  • Workforce Planning: Provide critical input on business unit restructures, workforce planning, and succession planning.

  • Training & Development: Identify training needs and monitor the success of training programs to foster promotion from within.

Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum of 8 years of experience resolving complex employee relations issues.

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field preferred.

  • Certification: SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP credential preferred (or the ability to obtain it within one year).

  • Expertise: Comprehensive working knowledge of multiple HR disciplines, including compensation, diversity, and federal/state employment laws.

  • Skills: Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills with a strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

  • Technology: Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and experience with HRIS systems (experience with Jobalign, EHX, or iSolved is a plus).

Physical Requirements & Essentials

  • Mobility: Ability to stand or walk for 10–15% of the shift and sit for prolonged periods in front of a computer screen.

  • Lifting: Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds regularly, and occasionally up to 50 pounds.

  • Travel: Ability to move freely throughout the office; driving a motor vehicle is required for this role.
