SUPERVISORY ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience combining technical expertise, leadership, and project management capabilities. Experience demonstrating mastery of advanced engineering concepts and a broad practical knowledge of shipyard processes, with specific experience in electrical/electronic disciplines onboard US Navy surface ships and aircraft carriers. Experience possessing a strong working knowledge of computer systems, including AIM, AIM-EP, and Microsoft Office Suite. Experience applying organizational and communication skills to effectively plan projects, lead a diverse team of engineers and technicians, and discuss complex technical matters with various levels of management. Experience demonstrating adept problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to interpret engineering drawings, manage complex projects, swiftly and efficiently resolving complex and multi-discipline technical issues and make critical decisions affecting the safety and operation of shipboard systems.
