As a Security Guard - Tech Site - Part Time in Hopewell Junction, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the tech and media facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
• Observe and report any unusual conditions or activities within the location to the appropriate personnel.
• Support access control measures by monitoring entrances and/or exits as directed.
• Document incidents and/or occurrences in accordance with Allied Universal and client protocols.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential security-related concerns and promote a sense of order within the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Being at least 21 years of age is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
