Entry - Audio Visual Tech. - Convention Center

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions delivers a beyond expectations waterpark resort and conference experience all under one roof. The authentically African-themed resort is home to America’s largest indoor waterparks and features well-appointed guest rooms, full-service Spa Kalahari, a fun-filled family entertainment center, on-site signature restaurants, unique retail shops and a state-of-the-art convention center.

 We are inviting you to apply for the role of Audio-Visual (AV) Tech. In this position, you will work behind the scenes, bringing events of all sizes to life! You’ll be setting up all audio-visual equipment, such as microphones, speakers, projectors, screens, and lighting systems, for everything from elegant weddings to casual business meetings to massive conventions.  Provide technical support during events, conferences, and presentations to ensure no technical glitches, and if there are, help in troubleshooting the problem to create a guest-focused solution. Work closely with the set-up crew, event service staff, and sales team to ensure each unique event is set up to create unforgettable moments for our guests!

We do require that you have a background, consisting of prior experience working with audio-visual equipment. Prior experience in a banquet position and a broad understanding of the tourism industry and convention center operations are preferred but not required.
