Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Principal Cyber Security Configuration Analyst in our Roy, Utah location. This position will require a full-time location of Roy and does not allow for telecommuting.
What you'll get to do:
The individual will be responsible for providing expert level configuration support and implementation of security compliance for boundaries at SAP Program levels (SAP) using Joint Special Access Program Implementation Guide (JSIG), and DOD Collateral using DCSA Assessment and Authorization Process Manual (DAAPM) / National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM).The individual will work alongside peers to help develop and implement a full range of tools to make up a strong security configuration program for dynamic programs for Northrop Grumman. The individual will also provide mentoring junior cybersecurity to raise the bar of the overall cybersecurity team.

This position’s standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree with 5 years of Information Systems Security experience, Master’s degree with 3 years of Information Systems Security experience, or 2 years with a PhD.
- Must have an active or current U.S. Government DoD security clearance (Secret, Top Secret; etc.)
- Must have a current DOD 8570 IAM Level II security certification (Examples: Security+)
- 3 or more years cybersecurity experience with emphasis on Change Management
- Demonstrated expert knowledge of cybersecurity practices in configuration management, change management, risk assessment, architecture review
- Experience developing cybersecurity policies, processes and tools for cybersecurity frameworks and industry best practices
Preferred Qualifications:
- 4 or more years of work cybersecurity experience in complex environment
- Knowledge and hands on experience for designing and implementing new controls based on gap analysis and requirements
- Knowledge and hands on experience with cybersecurity management tools
- Experience developing cybersecurity policies, processes and tools for cybersecurity frameworks and industry best practices supporting National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Special Publication (SP) 800-53
