- Implement lesson plans and instructional materials to support strong student learning and engagement.
- Build safe, structured, and joyful classroom environments through consistent routines, proactive classroom management, and strong relationships.
- Uphold high academic and behavioral expectations for all students.
- Support the diverse learning needs of students, including multilingual learners and students with disabilities.
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with teachers, school leaders, families, and student support staff.
- Maintain a positive classroom culture grounded in restorative and relationship-centered practices.
- Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability across grade levels, content areas, and school settings.

Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree highly preferred
Other Requirements
- Must possess at least one or more of the following:
- 1-Year Substitute Authorization
- 3- Year Substitute Authorization
- 5- Year Substitute Authorization
- Within the first year of your employment, you’re required to complete CDE READ Act training or CDE Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CLD) -45 contact hours.
- Pass a background check.
- Demonstrate Eligibility to work in the United States.
- We use E-Verify to confirm the identity and employment eligibility of all new hires.
Salary
- This is a full-time, benefits-eligible position with a salary of $55,000 based on experience and qualifications.
