Sr. Learning & Development Specialist (San Diego, Dallas or DC -Hybrid)

The Learning and Development Consultant is responsible for assessing, designing, delivering, and evaluating various employee and leadership learning and organizational development initiatives. This position will partner with the Sr. Manager, Talent Management and Culture to provide process excellence consulting and learning program management to support continuous learning and high-excellence culture.  

What you will do:

• Provides strategic consulting and collaborates with key stakeholders to identify learning and development needs 
• Drives a continuous learning and high-excellence culture 
• Collaborates with cross-functional departments and external vendors to support ongoing training needs  
• Designs learning content aligned to specific business needs, incorporating instructional design methodologies that are engaging and effective at meeting learning needs; addresses Leadership and Functional Skill gaps as required  
• Collaborates with subject matter experts (SMEs) and third-party providers to coordinate the delivery of learning activities (i.e., materials) and to ensure final product is meaningful, engaging,  
• Delivers and facilitates learning and development programs that are aligned with company culture 
• Supports the deployment of learning in a variety of delivery formats for distributed teams (e.g.; classroom, web-based, and e-Learning) 
• Evaluates and improves overall learning program effectiveness  
• Provides program management and logistical support for various learning events 
• Stays current on Learning and Development trends  

Qualifications:

• 5-8 years of experience in Learning and Development design and delivery 
• Previous L&D Experience in a business environment 
• Strong communicator with the ability to articulate clearly in writing and speaking 
• Advanced skill set in multiple learning delivery modalities (virtual and in-person)    
• Must be a team player 
• Must be highly organized 
• Contributes to a welcoming and fun employee culture 
• Experience any learning system; Udemy (Preferred)
