Job Description
All Care Therapies is currently seeking a Lead Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our dynamic team! This is an exciting opportunity to join an evolving therapy team, expanding to the Greater Las Vegas area. The Occupational Therapy Lead will oversee a team of 4 to 5 Certified Occupational
Therapy Assistants (COTAs) in delivering high-quality occupational therapy services in home care settings. This position is responsible for managing and maintaining caseloads, conducting evaluations and reevaluations, ensuring compliance with state regulations, and providing ongoing training and support to COTAs.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Supervise and mentor a team of COTAs, ensuring high standards of care and effective service delivery.
- Manage and maintain individual caseloads, including conducting initial evaluations and follow-up assessments.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on comprehensive evaluations.
- Ensure compliance with state of Nevada obligations related to supervision and practice standards.
- Provide training and support to COTAs, facilitating professional development and adherence to best practices.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, families, and caregivers to optimize client outcomes.
- Monitor and document client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of occupational therapy practices, regulations, and trends.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
Qualifications
Education: Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
Experience:
- Current licensure to practice occupational therapy in the state of Nevada.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in occupational therapy, with a focus on home care preferred.
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience is highly desirable.
Skills:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to providing patient-centered care and enhancing client quality of life.
