Our Full Stack engineering team is looking for a Senior Software Engineer with experience working in large, data-heavy web applications, built in Javascript and NodeJS. Members of the Full Stack team write both front- and back-end code to create interactive reporting and analysis tools, with data drawn from billions of documents. Front End work is a mix of React and Redux, and legacy Coffeescript and Backbone. APIs often involve creating complex Elasticsearch queries while keeping an eye on performance.

Our Full Stack engineering team is looking for a Senior Software Engineer with experience working in large, data-heavy web applications, built in Javascript and NodeJS. In this role, you will:
- Work on complex UI features to help customers search and filter their data
- Write Elasticsearch searches that operate on billions on documents, and work with realtime data over websockets
- Create end-to-end tests and unit tests
- Conduct code reviews and provide feedback and guidance to other team members
- Work with Product and Design teams on features and updates
In order to be successful in this role, you will need:
- 5+ years of professional software development experience
- Good communication skills, including written and spoken English; we are a distributed team and clear and accurate communication is essential
- Willingness to collaborate, assist, and share knowledge with other team members
- Knowledge of Javascript, CSS, NodeJS, and React
- Bonus points for experience with any of: Elasticsearch, MongoDB, Redis, Coffeescript, Backbone, Typescript
- Experience building single-page applications
- Experience writing APIs and thinking in terms of data
- A focus on customer experience and happiness
