POSITION TITLE: Staff Scientist
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Scripps Research Institute is seeking a qualified candidate for a Staff Scientist (computational) position in Dr. Pietro Paolo Sanna's laboratory.
Candidates should have outstanding scientific credentials, including publications in journals relevant to the field of systems biology, and conference presentations. Candidates possessing a strong background in computer science, machine learning, physics, mathematics combined with a good understanding of molecular biology will be preferred. The optimal candidate will have significant experience and publications in network-based biology, including the reverse engineering and/or use of regulatory/signaling networks to elucidate the molecular determinants of specific cellular phenotypes and associated mechanisms for follow-up experimental validation.
REQUIREMENTS:
Ph.D. and minimum of 2 yrs. of postdoctoral experience.

COMPENSATION: The expected hiring range for this position is $64,480 to $90,272 per year, commensurate with experience. Consideration will be given to experience that exceeds the listed requirements. COMPREHENSIVE BENEFITS INCLUDE:
