You will be a part of the Radiation Safety International team (EMEA & APAC) which is responsible for regulatory and operational radiation safety within Varian. We make sure that Varian activities relating to ionizing radiation safety are properly authorized and conducted in compliance with applicable local law and following national and international standards. We also ensure a safe radiation environment for all Varian employees and the public. Radiation Safety International is supporting the Varian Teams (Sales/Installation/Service/Logistics) in all radiation safety related issues.
As the Radiation Safety Support Specialist, you will manage routine radiation safety tasks and provide administrative support to the Radiation Safety International Team.

Major Responsibilities

• Collecting documents and required compliance data mainly from internal sources

• Follow-up on missing or incomplete information

• Analyze and verify data

• Reliably maintain various Excel and SharePoint databases with important compliance information

• Preparation of charts and dashboards

• Project support (coordination and organization)

Requirements:

• Excellent knowledge and proficiency of standard MS Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, Power Point)

• Scientific higher education (university)

• Self-motivated, reliable, quality minded, creative and customer focused

• Good communication skills

• Excellent English language a must (minimum CEFR C1 level) - additional languages a plus

• Enjoys working in an international team and supporting activities in EMEA and APAC
