- AML Surveillance:
- Provide guidance for MCI's AML & KYC policies and procedures
- Conduct investigations of suspicious transactions and potential fraudulent activities
- Assist in implementing AML/KYC risk assessments and review processes for high-risk clients
- Participate in all regulatory & compliance related projects
- Assist in training of staff of Cypto policies, procedures and risk
- Trade Surveillance:
- Surveillance of all crypto trading and products
- Utilize provided tools on a daily basis to ensure no "bad actors" are trading in MCI systems / accounts
- Report and/or act on any deviation in trading that might be or is a regulatory concern
- Licensing Applications:
- The ability to complete all necessary application documentation to register MCI in all states to trade Crypto
- Knowledge of the rules and regulations in all states as it pertains to registration and the trading of Crypto
- Handling of Complaints:
- The ability to recognize and resolve customer complaints
- Knowledge of individual states reporting requirements for complaints
- Excellent writing skills to address complaints in a manner customers can comprehend
- Navigating regulatory changes in the US. Look for upcoming changes; monitor Crypto news pages.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
- 5+ years of compliance experience, 3 of which are in a crypto compliance capacity
- Must be fluent in English
- Strong interpersonal and written communication skills
- Highly motivated with capability to work with minimum supervision
- Must be a team player, willing to collaborate
- Ability to prioritize and multitask effectively under pressure and excellent organizational and time management skills are essential
