About the Job:
Taco Bell is looking for a highly motivated individual with demonstrated strength in analytics, problem solving, intellectual curiosity, and relationship management to serve as an Associate Manager, Customer Analytics.
As Taco Bell is on a journey to uncover insights in customer behavior so that we meet the needs of our customers to maximize short and long-term business results. Taco Bell’s Insights & Analytics team is looking to add an Associate Manager, Customer Analytics focused on driving business growth via customer analytics using both first- and third-party data. The position will interface closely with the brand marketing team, brand activation, digital team and marketing analytics team as well as Taco Bell’s IT team.
The Day-to-Day:
- Champion the customer centric approach by partnering with leadership and cross functional partners by providing them with the necessary data and insight to consistently measure our products, processes and experiences.
- Synthesize data, uncover insights and create compelling data visualizations from multiple sources to tell a story and influence business actions.
- Act as a liaison with internal business partners (IT, Loyalty, Brand Strategy) and outside vendors to ensure timely/accurate delivery of reporting and analysis.
- Provide thought leadership on leveraging analytics to assess customer strategies and action plans for key business opportunities, problems or questions.
- Collaborate with internal and external vendors to provide analytical services and insights to marketing teams.
- Lead the creation and presentation to key audiences of compelling business cases and recommendations that drive action and support business decisions through the effective use of data.
- Lead and participate in the daily operations of the Customer Analytics team, including the review of data integrity audits, database update schedules, data exchanges with vendors and data enhancements.
- Support the growth trajectory of the business with advanced modeling and statistical support including segmentation, customer acquisition/retention, customer lifetime value, incrementality, and ROI of programs.
- Partner with Ecomm and Loyalty teams to drive business growth through analyzing the effectiveness and profitability of offers and campaigns on customer’s omni-channel behavior
Is This You?
- BA required; analytical degree preferred (e.g., Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering). MBA/MS a plus.
- 5+ years analytically oriented business leadership and experience developing customer analytical framework to analyze complex business problems and using analytics to drive business results / Job level will be commensurate with experience
- Strong understanding of applied statistical, multivariate modeling
- Hands on experience working with regression, clustering, support vector machines, decision trees and related models
- Advanced analytical and quantitative skills to use data and metrics to back up assumptions, evaluate the hypothesis and complete root cause analysis of the business problem
- Highly versed in applications software including advanced Excel and particularly strong understanding of Relational Databases with writing custom SQL. Familiarity with PowerBI a plus. Strong understanding of PowerPoint.
