Project Administrator - Architecture

Job Description

Required:

• Minimum of 1-3 years of Project Administrator experience
• Familiar with construction, construction procedures, construction terminology
• Working knowledge in EBuilder, Procore, Autodesk 360 and Service Now data management programs as periodically updated

Preferred:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business or closely related field.
• 1-3 years of Project Administrator experience with leading architectural firm or construction company
• Interest in international projects, four and/or five-star resort hospitality and residential design

Qualifications

• Comprehensive experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Exchange, and Windows.)
• Basic familiarity with vendor software applications: processing Fed-Ex shipments, time tracking reporting, and telephone operations.
• Ability to work in a creative, collaborative, entrepreneurial, and fast paced team environment.
• Ability to approach all tasks with proactive thinking and a comprehensive plan of action.
• Must be self-motivated, self-directed, and possess strong leadership qualities.
• Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to multi-task.
• Must be comfortable with change in priorities, assignments.
• Professional demeanor and composure when dealing with critical deadlines and urgent requests.
• Must be able to communicate effectively and professionally.
• Must be able to maintain the highest level of confidentiality; handling sensitive information concerning both the Company and its projects.
• Must be adept at multi-tasking and utilizing exceptional organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong interpersonal skills
• Must be self-motivated, self-directed, and possess strong leadership qualities.
• Must have an excellent personal presentation and possess the necessary skills and attributes to represent the qualitative character of WDD in all forms of communication and representation

COMMUNUCATION SKILLS:

Ability to read, comprehend, and compose complex instructions, correspondence, and memorandum.  Ability to author correspondence.  Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations.

Consistently demonstrate active listening.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:

Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide with accuracy necessary to understand and coordinate complex technical documents and specifications as part of the design, documentation, and construction process.

REASONING ABILITY:

Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out simple and complex instructions. 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Ability and positive willingness to work varying schedules and hours required to meet the business needs of the project(s) at hand.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. 

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.  When on a project site, the noise level increases to loud.  When on a project site, employees are required to comply with all contractor-imposed safety procedures.

Due to the unpredictable nature of the design industry, Employees must be able to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the business.
