Senior GL Accountant

We’re looking for a results-driven professional who thrives on managing financial reports, records, and general ledgers. This is a great opportunity to help Rossum, one of the most promising post-Series A startups in Europe, scale. As a crucial member of our team, you'll prepare and analyze budgets, handle general accounting tasks, and assist in audits and quarterly closings. About you:

You'll be a right fit if you:

• Have a passion for numbers, analysis, and resolving anomalies with the internal team.
• Have knowledge of accounting principles.
• Understand the balance sheet and income statement impacts
• Have previous experience as GL accountant (IFRS and Czech GAAP)
• Want to take part in automating our processes.
• Are a self-starter with the ability to work independently
• Have a Bachelor's degree in accounting.
• Have strong communication skills, both written and verbal (working language is English)
• Are honest and bullshit-free. You base your opinions on data, but don’t cling to it in the face of good arguments.

You will have edge if you:

• Have experience in a high-growth SaaS environment
• Have at least 3 years of experience in a similar role
• Have experience with Netsuite

In this role you can expect to: 

• Preparing and entering financial data and transactions into the ledger
• Reviewing financial documents for accuracy and reconciling accounts
• Analyzing financial data
• Ensuring financial records comply with regulatory standards
• Generating financial reports
• Collaborating with other departments to complete accurate records and provide accounting support
• Preparing taxes or gathering tax documents
• Supporting Internal and External Auditors, Controller and other financial professionals in their duties as needed
• Regular focus on Balance sheets to minimize open items
