Walmart Specialty Pharmacy is a one-off business unit within Walmart; specialized in the delivery of low/limited distributed pharmaceuticals to patients throughout the United States and Puerto Rico. Unlike a traditional or retail pharmacy, Specialty Pharmacy manages and distributes life sustaining medicines to patients with extremely challenging illnesses. We are predominately a patient contact center, but also operate a fully functional pharmacy with an entire team of pharmacy professionals. While we are not patient facing, we are fully engaged with our customers, patients, and medical practitioners throughout the country.

We are looking for experienced Pharmacy Technicians interested in expanding their experience by becoming a part of our team. This role will work at our location at 2354 Commerce Park Dr Orlando, FL 32819.

Job Description

What you'll do in our Pharmacy Technician roles:

Work in an innovative environment with cutting-edge technology. Responsibilities include identifying, selecting and verifying pharmaceutical products, expiration dates and lot numbers; labels and weighs medication for accuracy; prepares packages and distributes medications in a fast-paced production environment; replenishes automated counting machines in accordance with local, state, and federal laws.

Qualifications

Are you a good fit for our Certified Pharmacy Technician roles? Yes, if you:

• Meet state requirements to work as a Certified Pharmacy Technician, such as minimum age, qualification, registration, certification, and/or licensure when required by the State Board of Pharmacy. Must be registered in the state of Florida.
• Hold an active/valid national certification issued by PTCB (PTCE) or NHA (ExCPT)
• First Shift: Available to work full time between the hours of 8am to 6pm (rotating Saturdays from hours 9am-7pm)
• Second Shift: Available to work full time between the hours of 10am to 9pm (rotating Saturdays from hours 9am-7pm)

Are you a good fit for our Temporary Registered Pharmacy Technician roles? Yes, if you:

• Meet state requirements to work as a Pharmacy Technician, such as minimum age, qualification, registration, certification, and/or licensure when required by the State Board of Pharmacy.
• Must be registered in the state of Florida.
• First Shift: Available to work between the hours of 8am to 6pm (rotating Saturdays from hours 9am-7pm)
