You can see some of our favorite projects&nbsp;<a class="" href="https://obe.com/projects/" target="_blank">here</a>.</p> <p>Start your journey with OBE and help us build the future.</p></div><p><strong>What You'll Get to Do</strong></p> <p>The Quality Control &amp; Test Technician is focused on testing and inspecting materials and finished products to ensure they conform to company standards and are market ready.</p> <p>This position supports quality inspections, product testing, product certification activities, and continuous improvement efforts.</p> <p><strong>Job Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Approve incoming materials by confirming specifications, conducting visual inspections and measurement tests, and rejecting and returning unacceptable materials.</li> <li>Approve finished products by confirming specifications and conducting required inspections and tests.</li> <li>Return products for re-work when needed and complete documentation required to support re-work activities.</li> <li>Ensure compliance with federal and state laws, as well as company standards and specifications.</li> <li>Perform inspections across all stages of production.</li> <li>Prepare and maintain test data for review.</li> <li>Select units for testing.</li> <li>Unwrap and re-wrap units.</li> <li>Prepare test specimens.</li> <li>Perform air infiltration and water penetration tests.</li> <li>Analyze and determine causes for test failure.</li> <li>Evaluate data and draft reports, noting relevant deviations from existing standards.</li> <li>Assist in product certification activities and buck building.</li> <li>Communicate with Line Supervisors regarding quality and testing results.</li> <li>Identify areas for quality control improvement</li> <li>Communicate quality or compliance concerns with urgency.</li> <li>Work toward continuously improving workplace organization, safety, quality, and productivity, and support an environment that empowers employees.</li> <li>Perform other duties as assigned.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><stro
