Brown & Brown has an exciting opportunity available for a Senior Benefits Analyst supporting our team in Plano, TX!

The Senior Benefits Account Analyst will assist the Account Team in servicing the benefit consulting responsibilities of the employee benefit clients. Primary responsibilities include assisting clients with daily service functions, utilizing technical expertise to retain current clients, administering marketing and renewal functions, and data management of client accounts.

This position requires a hybrid schedule.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Compliance, benchmarking, renewal & marketing, reporting & analytics for employee benefit clients.

  • Assist with onboarding new clients, maintain accurate data in system database.

  • Assist clients with daily service functions and frequent ad hoc requests.

  • Create, review and edit employee benefit guides, benefit manuals and other client materials as requested.

  • Creates and maintains strong relationships with vendors.

  • Prepares and submits client utilization and financial reporting to Consultants and to client.

  • Reviews insurance circulars and bulletins to keep current on changes in the industry.

  • Confers with team to identify, plan, and develop methods and procedures to obtain greater efficiency and effectiveness of benefit programs.

  • Assists account teams with misc. account duties to include running various reports as requested.

  • Other duties may be assigned.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

  • 5+ years employee benefits experience, with a thorough understanding and knowledge of employee benefits

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred

  • Proficient with MS Office Suite

  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to work independently

  • Detail oriented with excellent organizational skills

  • May be required to obtain and maintain active Life/Accident and Health Insurance Agent License within 1 year of employment
